The software is capable of connecting to more than one DVR so it can even back up multiple DVRs at once.

The benefits for using this software are dual-back ups, “failsafe” operation and further increased storage capacity. For public sector users such as councils, the software enables the police to take away massive amounts of video data after major incidents without necessitating the removal of actual DVRs.

Once stored on the PC or Server, the software allows the data to be interrogated without touching the DVR itself. This software module is an optional extra to the dvr9K.
